We are looking for a AR Representative I to join our team
Ensure timely receipt of all accounts with an outstanding delinquency.
A typical day will include the following:
Contact agent and/or policyholders for past due balances in accordance with departmental procedures.
Communicate with field office and RVP all billing and payment issues affecting resolution of delinquencies.
Monitor cancel/rewrite accounts to ensure proper action is taken.
Handle the replacement of return checks within 7 days and/or issue a notice of cancellation or rescind reinstatement.
Prepare basic billing breakdowns utilizing Excel
Can be given authority to approve own refunds up to $5,000
Review and/or refund credit balances within 30 days of becoming a credit for balances >= $3,000 on a weekly basis.
Supervisor may assign additional duties.
Monitor and manage the delinquency for all policies in assigned territory to include the following:
- Report the disposition of the >60 day receivables on a monthly basis
- Manage the Automatic Cancellation Queue
- Identify problem accounts and be able to independently determine the correct course of action
Review and/or refund credit balances within 15 days of becoming a credit for all cancelled policies on a weekly basis.
Take customer payments via check by phone and credit card.
|High School Diploma|
|One to two years of related experience is required.|
|Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Word and Excel.|
