Duties

We are looking for an Account Executive-Renewal Business to join our team in Phoenix!

Working under the direct supervision of the Team Lead or Regional Account Manager, the Account Executive supports the renewal sales goals and processes renewal business via interaction with agents, Marketing Representatives, policyholders, U/Ws and other internal and external customers.


A typical day will include the following:

Releases quotes and binds accounts on policy renewals as determined by Underwriting and/or Management.

Attends Agent Summits / Conventions / Product Fairs and accompanies Marketing Representatives on agency visits, when appropriate.

Performs duties as outlined in the Broker of Record SOP and/or new agent set-up including follow-up with Compliance to ensure proper contract, file set-up, processing, and distribution.

Establishes and maintains relationships with Agents/Brokers to facilitate renewal processing in accordance with company underwriting guidelines.

Processes renewal accounts and maintains a book of business.

Reviews all renewal submissions for completeness and acceptability, electronically updates systems and forwards to Underwriting or Marketing Representatives within the required timeframes.

Discusses solicitation strategy with the Marketing Representative and solicits renewal accounts within designated company timeframes.

Processes requests for endorsements, certificates, loss runs, and coverage questions within designated authority level.

Maintains knowledge of new and existing products.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following:
•At least two years of experience servicing commercial insurance accounts
•Property & Casualty License preferred
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Strong customer service skills
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Results oriented and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
•Strong PC skills
