Duties
We are looking for a Sr. Risk Services Consultant to join our team
Summary -
Provides advanced technical expertise in at least one specialty area.
A typical day will include the following:
Develops, implements and monitors risk management and loss prevention programs for complex accounts. Evaluates new products, hazards and loss control measures.
Provides input to product development, underwriting, marketing and claims based on loss prevention expertise in a given product area. Assists in training new staff.
Provides leadership and technical assistance to loss control, underwriting or other professionals with regard to safety and prevention in a given product area.
Conducts physical surveys, investigates risk exposures/accidents, analyzes risk experience and makes recommendations to assist those insured in maintaining loss control programs. Confers with underwriters to determine frequency of physical inspections.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
Degree in Safety, Engineering or related field/equivalent desired.
Eight plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or ARM (Associate in Risk Management) desired.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
