Duties
We are looking for a State Filing Analyst I to join our team
Summary -
Coordinates the submission of rates, rules and form filings in compliance with state insurance department regulations including: ordering checks for filing fees, preparing transmittal letters, making photocopies and mailing filings after review.
A typical day will include the following:
Assist in maintaining calendar of compliance filings and makes filings as required.
Assist senior state filing analyst in coordinating filing submission.
Maintain filing status in filing system.
Correspond with Underwriting and state insurance Department personnel to follow up on filing activity and update status.
Respond to ad hoc request from state insurance departments.
Respond to questions received by our internal and external customers pertaining to filings including writing amendatory endorsements.
Assist in the preparation for market conduct examinations by the state insurance departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Preferred; Insurance experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Minimum 1-3 years of state filing experience required
Commercial Insurance experience required
Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and follow up
Organizational and Project Management Skills
