Duties

We are looking for a Account Executive-New to join our team in Alpharetta, GA!

Summary -

Working under the direct supervision of Team Lead or Regional Account Manager, supports the new business sales goals and processes new business via interaction with agents, Marketing Representatives, policyholders, U/Ws and other internal and external customers.


A typical day will include the following:

Releases quotes and binds accounts on policy renewals as determined by Underwriting and/or Management.

Manages pipeline to insure need-by dates are met through the use of applicable reports.

Maintains knowledge of new and existing products.

Attends Agent Summits / Conventions / Product Fairs and accompanies Marketing Representatives on agency visits, when appropriate.

Establishes and maintains relationships with Agents/Brokers to facilitate new business processing in accordance with company underwriting guidelines.

Reviews and pre-qualifies all new business submissions for completeness and acceptability, electronically updates systems and forwards to Underwriting or Marketing Representatives within the required timeframes.

Performs duties as outlined in the Broker of Record SOP and/or new agent set-up including follow-up with Compliance to ensure proper contract, file set-up, processing, and distribution.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Strong customer service skills
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Results oriented and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
•Strong PC skills
•Experience servicing commercial insurance accounts preferred
•Property & Casualty License is a plus
