We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our team.
Under general supervision and direction, designs, coordinates and delivers organizational development and HR-related internal learning solutions comprised of training modules and programs to develop a consistent learning experience and build workforce capability to drive effectiveness and increase productivity.
A typical day will include the following:
Conducts analyses for new and/or enhanced HR-related Programs (i.e. Job Rotation, Mentoring, Summer Associate, etc.); completes high-level and detailed design documents, writes learning objectives mapped to desired performance outcomes.
Designs and develops instructional materials for learning in selected tools that may include: Captivate Articulate, Camtasia, Powerpoint and Webex
Field L&D Specialists will be responsible for determining local learning needs and addressing them by connecting field employees to the company’s training offerings or by creating and delivering alternative solutions.
Partners with HR Trainers, Department Leads and Content SMEs to design effective instructional solutions; suggests and develops Career Development Programs for all levels of employees.
Develops and maintains project plans for training materials and HR-related programs based on blended learning approaches (including but not limited to: traditional classroom courses, web-based training, distributed meeting formats, eLearning, self-study materials, train-the-trainer, virtual classroom, collaboration/Q&A's, newsletters and team lead meeting/"huddle" format.
Delivers HR-related learning courses and programs.
Seven plus years experience in a training and development environment.
