We are looking for a Sr. Account Executive-Renewal to join our team
Working under general direction, supports the renewal business sales goals and processes renewal business in each office via interaction with agents, Marketing Representatives, policyholders, U/Ws and other internal and external customers.
A typical day will include the following:
Runs system reports to target upcoming renewal accounts within designated timeframes and discusses solicitation strategy with the Marketing Representative.
Processes requests for endorsements, certificates, loss runs, coverage questions, etc.
Establishes and maintains relationships with Agents / Brokers to facilitate renewal business processing in accordance with company underwriting guidelines.
Reviews all renewal submissions for completeness and acceptability, and electronically updates systems and forwards to Underwriting or Marketing Representatives within the required timeframes.
Processes applications for coverage utilizing established underwriting authority (terrorism rejection, special events)
Performs duties as outlined in the Broker of Record SOP and/or new agent set-up including follow-up with Compliance to ensure proper contract, file set-up, processing, and distribution.
Mentors new/current employees in the department as assigned by management.
Responds to agent inquiries for coverage, billing, compliance questions, etc.
Independently releases quotes and binds accounts up to an approved premium level as determined by management.
Maintains knowledge of new and existing products.
Attends Agent Summits/Conventions/Product Fairs and accompanies Marketing Representatives on agency visits when appropriate.
Handles difficult calls/e-mails in order to determine a resolution, and delivers good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients.
Successful candidates will have the following:
•At least two years of experience servicing commercial insurance accounts preferred
•Property & Casualty License preferred
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Strong customer service skills
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Results oriented and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
•Strong PC skills
